MAHA is passionate about growing girls' hockey and providing opportunities for young female athletes to develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love for the game. 

We offer two exciting programs just for girls in Addison County and surrounding areas to practice and play hockey. Girls are welcome to join one or both options.

Levi Doria will coach a team of female players, birth years 2017 to 2014, interested in an introduction to travel and game play against other regional teams. The tentative plan is 1 practice per week and 1-2 games on the weekend. Registered players will commit to this team and should not double roster on a youth team to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Players can also participate in weekly girls’ house league sessions and bi-monthly Dave Randall skating clinics at no additional charge.  Program cost is $500 and will run from mid-October to mid-February. We offer a $100 discount for new players.

New to hockey?

Our Girls Try Hockey program is designed to welcome newcomers to the sport in a fun, supportive environment. Here’s what you should know about the program:

• It’s FREE!

• 2025 sessions are Sundays from 3pm - 4pm on October 19, October 26, November 2 and November 9

• No experience is necessary–this program is targeted toward beginning hockey players

• USA Hockey registration is not required to participate

• We’ll provide the necessary equipment – you’ll have the option to return the equipment after the program has ended or purchase items at a reduced cost

• We will have patient and supportive coaches on the ice focused on learning about hockey, sportsmanship and having fun!

• It’s for girls only! This is a great chance to try hockey and make new friends

Remember, every hockey player started as a beginner. Join us on the ice, and discover the excitement and camaraderie of girls' hockey!

Our Middlebury Girls House League offers:

• Weekly on-ice sessions

• Skill development, teamwork, and community building

• USA Hockey aligned coaching

• A fun, supportive environment for all skill levels

Whether your daughter is lacing up her skates for the first time or dreaming of collegiate hockey, MAHA's Girls Program is a place for her to thrive on the ice.

Program information:

• Program fees are $160 for the season

• Program fees include ice time, coaching, and a hockey jersey for each girl

• Completion of USA Hockey registration is required (additional fee, click here to register)

• Weekly sessions on Sunday mornings, 9-10am, ongoing until 2/15/2026

• All sessions will take place at Memorial Sports Center in Middlebury, VT

• On-ice sessions will include skills and scrimmages

• No experience necessary - all skill levels welcome!
